This policy covers the HiRootsRealty rental scheduling and application experience (the “Service”). It supplements the full HiRoots Realty Privacy Policy & Terms at hirootsrealty.com/terms-and-conditions; where the two differ for text messaging, this policy governs the Service.
Information we collect
When you inquire about a listing or apply, we collect your name, email address, mobile phone number, and the details you provide about your application and showing preferences.
Text messaging (SMS)
You opt in to text messages by checking the SMS consent box on our inquiry form, or by texting START to our number. We send transactional messages about your application and showings. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, or STOP to opt out at any time.
We never share your mobile number
Your mobile phone number and text-messaging consent are used only to operate the Service. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS consent with any third party or affiliate — for marketing, promotional, or any other purpose. The only exception is the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf (for example, our SMS provider), which receives the number solely to send the messages you asked for and may not use it for anything else. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
How we use your information
To respond to your inquiry, schedule showings, process your application, and send the transactional texts and emails you consented to.
Other data sharing
Aside from your mobile number, our general data practices — including any advertising or analytics sharing — are described in the full HiRoots Realty Privacy Policy. The non-sharing commitment above applies specifically to the mobile number and SMS consent collected through the Service.
Your choices
Reply STOP to any text to opt out; reply HELP for help; or contact us to access, correct, or delete your information.
